Bolivar Community Yard Sale

On Saturday, October 8th, 2011, the Town of Bolivar hosted a Community Yard Sale at the Bolivar Community Park on West Washington Street. The Yard Sale ran from 8:00am to 2:00pm. It was a beautiful day for a sale! Ten vendors set up tables and we had many interested shoppers. The Town would like to thank everyone who made the event such a success!

Public Library Annual Book Sale

From Friday September 30th through Saturday October 1st, the Bolivar/Harpers Ferry Public Library hosted its Annual Book Sale. The event began Friday at 5:30 pm with a Preview Night and continued on Saturday at 9:00 am with the Main Sale. The event went very well, with over 90 attendees. The Library would like to thank everyone who stopped by.

Bolivar Family Day

On Saturday, July 23rd, the Town of Bolivar hosted Bolivar Family Day at the Bolivar Community Park. The festival included a visit from Bubble B and Mr. B, Fingerprinting For Kids provided by the Sheriff's Office, a Moon Bounce, Karaoke, and much more. 2011 Bolivar Municipal Election

The 2011 Bolivar Municipal Election was held Tuesday, June 8th. Unofficial results are as follows:

Recorder: P. Jean Reed
Town Council: Helen Dettmer, Frank Donadio, John Paul Heafer, David Kardok, Paul Staubs
